Coalition Forces Kill 'Em All & Lets God Sort Them Out

Are there any current investigations underway in regards to various subhuman quotes attributed to deluded members of our nation building enlistees, as reported by our finest inbedded purporters?
The New York Times published a cover story (Saturday, March 29,2003) on a day in the life of some red blooded American snipers at work and play in Iraq. A Sgt. Eric Schrumpf proudly declared, "We had a great day. We killed a lot of people." And after recounting an incident in which a woman was accidently shot, he humbly apologized, "I'm sorry, but the chick was in the way."
Sgt. Schrumpf's words surfaced all across the web in the mainstream and alternative universes (of course, they were mainly condemned in the latter not as traversed body) but it was another, not as widely cited quote, which rang harsher: "We dropped a few civilians but what do you do?"
Another account widely viewable on the web (The Times of London - the marines ruminated on what they had done) quotes a gunnery Sgt. John Merriman, a veteran of the first gulf war (and god knows what other horrors). "I was shooting down a street when suddenly a women came out and casually began to cross the street with a child no older than 10. At first, I froze on seeing the civilian woman. She then crossed back again with the child and went behind a wall. Within less than a minute, a guy with an RPG came out and fired at us from behind the same wall." Sgt. Merriman evidently came to an instantaneous conclusion that this was not a coincidence. "Ok, I get it. Let her come out again," he warned. "She did, and this time I took her out with my M-16." Well, despite the battlefield reasoning of the super sleuth merry man, gunning down unarmed civilians remains a punishable war crime.
And in closing, some lovely parting words that sound like they were stolen from a deleted scene in David O. Russell's 1999 film about the first gulf war/gas siege, Three Kings. A line that Spike Jonze's imbecilic character might have said in the opening scenes before he mellowed out in the usage of his friendly nickname for Semites, 'sand niggers.' "The Iraqis are sick people, and we are the chemotherapy," said Ryan Dupre. "I am starting to hate this country. Wait 'til I get hold of a friggin' Iraqi. No, I won't get hold of one. I'll just kill him."

Peace.
Welcome to Myweigh. First off, I was anxious to get going so I did not afford a tremendous amount of time to the title of my bloggery. My apologies to Paul Anka and the former Chairman of the Board for my feeble punning, but it seems an okay fit. My intent is to weigh in on topical events and such, and since it's my space, the opinions expressed may be a tad bit tyrannical. Speaking of tyrants... Ahhhh, since I started my first blog with the word peace, I'm going to hold off on talking about the warmonger until tomorrow. Incidently, tomorrow, Monday, March 31 will be the date of the first open to the public meeting of the 9-11 Commission. I'll be weighing in on that as well in the future.
Peace.

Welcome to Whoz Newz!

I began my very first blog one week ago today at Myweigh.blogspot but, from now on, this will be the place to read all of my nonviolent rabble-rousing. All of my prior posts from Myweigh have been transferred to this site.
The name for my site grew out of a slogan (Who's Streets? Our Streets!) which I have grown fond of chanting at many recent New York City protests, marches and rallies - especially when the uniformers (in and out of) lose their cool and get to whomping peaceful protesters in their heads, spraying women and children with pepper spray or mace, and trampling pedestrians with poor, terrified, unwilling horses.
My aim is to serve in the tradition of the legendary Izzy Stone, by scouring the internet, television and official records in order to inform the public on what they might miss out on, due to the disgraceful state of our big business controlled mass media and the current lunatic Supreme Court enabled regime.

Letters, Comments and Hate Mail may be sent to edkranepool@yahoo.com

Peace.
